Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Threads Monitor Bot (“the App”), a Telegram bot that searches and monitors Threads posts through the official Meta Threads API. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The App allows authorized users to search Threads posts by keyword, manage monitoring phrases, and receive Telegram notifications about matching public content. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time.
2. Eligibility and authorization
You must meet the minimum age and other eligibility requirements of Telegram, Threads, and Meta. You may use only accounts and access permissions that you are authorized to use.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the App to:
- Violate applicable law or the rights of another person
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or unlawfully profile another person
- Collect, publish, or misuse personal data without a lawful basis
- Attempt to bypass Meta, Threads, Telegram, or App access limits
- Interfere with the App, its infrastructure, or connected services
- Share access tokens, credentials, or other secrets through the bot
4. Third-party services
The App relies on Meta/Threads and Telegram. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability, data, moderation decisions, or API changes.
5. Content and search results
Threads content belongs to its respective authors or rights holders. The App provides links and limited metadata returned by the official API. Search results may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or removed. You are responsible for how you use information returned by the App.
6. Privacy and deletion
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. Instructions for requesting deletion are available on the Data Deletion page.
7. Availability and disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of results, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the App, third-party outages, API changes, missed notifications, or reliance on search results.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse connected platform data. You may stop using the App at any time and request deletion of your App data.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the App or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
